Peter is coming to us from Warwickshire to
show his lecture 'A Beginners Guide to
Wildlife Photography'.

Jean & Geoff will show us their lastest digital
print lecture entitled 'More Photoshopping'.

1st Open Competition.

Ray Brightman FRPS AFIAP DPAGB.

Tonight is a recorded lecture by Ray entitled
'Out of the Rut' covering a wide range of
captured and contrived images from classic
landscapes to candid shots.

This evening we will be seeing John's lecture
entitled 'Cathedrals & Churches - A Look at Record Work'.

WCPF Travelling Print Critique.

A selection of work entered in the WCPF
Members' Exhibition that, given no space
restrictions, would have been exhibited in the
Annual Exhibition. We have the opportunity to comment on the images ourselves.

David Boag.

After his last excellent lecture David needs
no introduction. He comes to us tonight with
his 'The American Project' which means we are in for another superb evening.

Piers Howell.

Piers is a dedicated dark room worker of some thirty years and tonight will be showing his talk entitled 'Landscape Photography in Black & White'.

Brian is a member of Crediton Photography Club and comes to us tonight with his talk entitled 'Around the Edge'.

This year's subjects, which must have been
taken since December 2007, are:

Prints - Decay & Dereliction.
Projected Images - Sunrise or Sunset(with a difference).

SDPL Print Competition hosted by Crediton at the Masonic Hall, Crediton.

Christmas Social.

Always sticklers for punishment, we are once
again visiting The Mount Pleasant Inn for an
evening of skittles and a scrumptious buffet.

Tonight our chairman, Brian Hopper, will have
planned a special evening for our enjoyment.

Tonight's recorded lecture deals with the
theory and practice of close up photography
utilising traditional equipment.

FEBRUARY 2009

Table Top Photography.

Time to practice a little still life photography. Arranging lighting and backdrops to give the best possible images, in groups with an
expert on hand to help and advise.

This evening we will see Tim's video

Audio Visual Evening.

Our annual showing of the best sequences our organiser, Ernie King CPAGB, has gone to great lengths to obtain for us.

Tonight we will see some gentle rivalry in
their print presentation 'Chalk & Cheese.'

This evening Kelvin, from Exeter Camera Club, will be showing his A.V.presentation entitled 'All Things Bright and Digital'.

Nigel Hicks.

Nigel is a professional travel photographer and comes to us tonight with his talk entitled ' A Travelling Life'. This is a digitally
projected presentation.

APRIL 2009

Print, Slide & Digitally Projected Image of the Year Competition.

Entries must have been taken since April '08
Judged by: Max Danby.

Wed 8th

S.D.P.L. Digital Competition.

The four clubs in the league will tonight come
head to head with their digital images.
At the end of this evening we will know the
winner of the S.D.P.L. trophy for 2008/09.

Wed 15th

Presentation of Awards Evening.

The best in-house evening of all, when we find
out who has won which trophy. The evening is
rounded off with a nice buffet and social chat.

This year's guest will be announced.

Wed 22nd

Annual General Meeting.

The most important meeting of the year.
Air your views in the open forum after the break.
