The Print and Slide Panel Competition.

"Max Danby with Trevor Cullen and the Winning Print Panel"
Mr Max Danby of Torquay judged both the print and slide Panel competitions at the Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club meeting on January 23rd. The Panel competitions involve five images with a common subject shown and judged for their relevance to each other and to the overall panel subject, as well as the technical competence and quality of the prints or slides. Mr Danby passed comment on each Panel and, where possible, discussed his observations with the Panel author.
The results of the competitions (with Panel subject in brackets) were:
Print Panels:
1st Trevor Cullen (Derelict Quarry).
2nd Ken Bradley (Nature's Creatures)
3rd Tony Wilson (Woodland Scenes).
Slide Panels:
1st Shirley Bolton (Festival Folk)
2nd Ernie King (Natural Habitat)
3rd Francis Renhard (Doorways in Devon).
