The Third Open Print Competition

"Gordon with Eddie and Ken"
This Wednesday Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera Cub held its final open print competition of the season, judged by Gordon Aspland of Newton Abbot Camera Club.

The results were.

Standard Prints: -

1st Edward Crawford - Babcia;
2nd Bob Clowes - Notre Dame;
3rd Roger Smart - Smile for the camera.

Highly Commended were: Tony Moll - Jacob's Ladder, Roger Smart - Grass, Jon Pitt -Covered Sea Walk, Paul Lawson - Into the fog.

Advanced Colour Prints: -

1st Tony Wilson - Quiet Corner Malcesene;
2nd Ken Holland - Gondolas;
3rd Tony Wilson - Lady in Red.

Highly commended were Jean king - Father and Sons, Ernie King - Queen of Savannah, Shirley Boulton - Irises.

Advanced Monochrome Prints: -

1st Ken Holland - Storm Clouds, Dawlish Warren;
2nd Shirley Boulton - Total Paris;
3rd Tony Wilson - The face in the window.

Highly commended were Ken Holland - Alone, Jean King - Lone Zebra.

Next week the club will be holding a practical studio evening at Holcombe Village Hall with Keith Monroe, who will be providing the equipment and models.
