First Open Competition

"John Hawkins CPAGB with some of the standard prints"
Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera Club held its first Open Competition of the season on 7th October.

Only prints were shown this time, there now being a separate evening for the showing of projected images. Judge John Hawkins of Newton Abbot Camera Club therefore had more time to comment on each piece of work.

The winners were:

Advanced Colour Prints:
1st - Ken Holland. ARPS DPAGB 2nd - Shirley Boulton.CPAGB. 3rd- Ken Bradley.
Highly Commended -Terry Boulton.CPAGB.

Advanced Mono Prints:
1st – Tony Wilson. 2nd – Mac Bouchere FRPS. 3rd – Ken Holland ARPS DPAGB
Highly Commended – Ernie King CPAGB and Richard Potts.

Standard Prints:
1st and 2nd Paul Lawson. 3rd Angela Heale.
Highly Commended – Denise Searle.
